Scholarships

Each year, Mount St Benedict College offer One Scholarship for an incoming student in Year 7.

The Scholarship have been named after Sisters of the Good Samaritan and each has made a unique contribution to the College, as we know it today.

To be eligible for the Scholarship, students must already have a confirmed enrolment position.

The number of full or part tuition scholarships awarded will be at the discretion of the Principal. All other costs, including Technology Levy, Capital Levy, P&F Levy, cocurricular activities and uniforms, are required to be met in full by families. The College’s non-refundable Expression of Interest Fee and Enrolment Acceptance Fee must be paid by the family prior to applying for a Mount St Benedict College Scholarship.

Prerequisites:

  • A letter of acceptance of enrolment for the Year 7 academic year
  • Registration for Level 1 of the ACER examination in the year prior to entry

Cost

Next year, this fee is $165.00 per student. The exam will be held on Saturday 22 February, 2025.
Applications for Year 7 in 2026 will be opened on Monday 23 September 2024 and will close on Sunday 2 February 2025.

Scholarship Conditions

Scholarship recipients will be notified by email during Term Two. It is assumed that scholarships will be accepted in good faith and that the behaviour, effort and involvement of the student concerned would be of an appropriate level. In the case where this is not so, the College reserves the right to withdraw the Scholarship.

Examination Results

All applicants will be notified by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) for access to their online results.
